Navy Pier

Well we finally did it!

We made it downtown to explore the city and it was great. Our good friends Frank and Tami came in town to visit and we spent Saturday downtown at Navy Pier.

There are so many things to do and see there. The weather was good because it was cool enough to walk around and see the sights without having to worry about the kids getting too hot. There was a couple of times where it rained for a few minutes, but other than that it was fun.

I couldn't believe how beautiful the water was. It is hard to believe that you on on a lake and not the Ocean because Lake michigan is Huge. We were able to get some amazing pictures of the water with the large city buildings in the background. Frank and Tami took a double decker tour bus, so we were able to get some good trivia from them without taking the tour.
